Administrative Associate Wanted:
GAR Associates, Inc., a real estate appraisal and consulting company, is seeking to fill a part-time administrative associate position. This person will be responsible for providing administrative support at our Amherst, NY headquarters.
The successful candidate must have experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Access) and Adobe for PDF creation, have a high attention to detail, and offer strong organizational skills. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high energy, time pressure environment is necessary.
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of administrative duties that help support the high producers and owners of the company, including but not limited to:
- Communicate with clients
- Providing necessary information to staff members
- Maintaining report/contract files
- Collecting data for reports
- Maintaining files in accordance with systems
- Calls to verify critical data
- Assist with report advancement/delivery
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies
- Schedule & travel control
- Help maintain library control
- Work with other support staff
- General Admin functions as needed
Three years of administrative experience is necessary. An Associate’s Degree is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
