NYS DHCR announced the allocation of almost $120 million in Statewide Housing and Community revitalization awards. Attached is a link to the list of Capital Projects funded thru the competitive round which had a February 2010 application date. There were a very limited number of projects funded this year which was clearly influenced by budgetary constraints and the investment climate; we calculate that around 50% of the typical number of projects were funded.  Of the 22 or so projects in the State that require Market Studies (the Boroughs of New York City do not), it appears that GAR Associates completed work on over half of the projects that received funding. The 2011 round will be upon us shortly and we are already starting to prepare some preliminary reports and take initial orders for the next round which will likely again have a February completion. Please contact M.
