Sinatra & Co. is just finishing a significant $2.2 million restoration project at 197 Summer Street. I’ve been walking by this beautiful house over the course of the last year or so, and can attest to the incredible transformation on the outside. But it’s the inside of the historic George Lewis House that really takes the cake.

“The common corridors were in pretty good shape,” said Matt Connors, Vice President of Development at Sinatra and Company Real Estate. “But the units were shot. There are a total of 9 units in the house – 2 2-bedrooms and 7 1-bedrooms. We’re really proud of this one. We restored as much of the original character that we could, including the fireplaces and hardwood floors. We also built out a wash and fold area for the tenants. There is parking in the back.”

It’s been a lot of fun watching this project unfold. The exterior of the house is full of detail, which has all been lovingly and dramatically brought back to life.

“It’s ready to go,” said Connors. “Leasing starts on March 1.”
