GAR Associates has named David M. Barnett a partner.
Certified by New York State as a general real estate appraiser, Barnett has been with GAR since 2004 and serves as president of GAR’s Government Division. He has also earned the SRA designation (Senior Residential Appraiser) from the Appraisal Institute, a global professional association of real estate appraisers, with nearly 17,000 professionals in almost 50 countries. David is currently working on obtaining his MAI designation (Member Appraisal Institute) from the institute as well.

Barnett has appraised property throughout New York State, including commercial, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, single and multi-family, and vacant land.

Barnett, who is based at GAR’s Capital District office in Clifton Park, is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia.
