BUFFALO, N.Y. — Housing prices have risen so high in five Western New York school districts that the value of a typical home now exceeds $200,000.

Atop the list is the Clarence Central School District, where the median home was pegged at $262,000 as of 2018, the latest year for which U.S. Census Bureau figures are available at the district level.

Orchard Park (median value of $234,800), Williamsville ($231,900) and Iroquois ($231,100) are in a tight battle for runner-up status. More than 60% of all homes within each of the top four school systems are valued above $200,000. You can see the full list on Buffalo Business First’s website.
